Because I own and operate a number of successful writing-related Web sites I quite often receive e-mails from people asking questions like; “How did you get started online Shaun – what does one need to do to establish an online presence like your Writing Help Web sites?”
Well, I have thought a lot about this, and I’ve concluded one thing above all else — I am convinced that the “ability to write effectively for the Web” is the single most important skill that one needs to possess in order to create a successful online presence.
Let’s face it, the Internet is all about words. People use words to search for what they’re seeking online. When surfers arrive at their destination Web sites, they are exposed to many more words than images. The search engines are all based on words. It’s clear that words are what it’s all about online. In fact, a well-known truism used by Internet Marketers states, “It’s the words that sell, not the pictures”.
So, if you can master the relatively simple skill of writing effectively for online readers, you’ll be well on your way to success on the Net. And here’s the good news – the skill of online writing can be easily learned by just about anyone. That’s right!
It just so happens that I recently discovered an amazing new all-in-one Web Business Building resource that stresses the absolute importance of writing online, just as I believe it needs to be stressed.
I’m referring here to Jim Daniels’ brand new step-by-step Video Course ezWebBusinessBuilder (ezWBB). (Jim is one of the most knowledgeable and trusted Business Builders on the Internet). Among the plethora of Web Business Building resources on Jim’s CD, is an entire section dedicated to the art of writing copy for the Web.

In fact, on the subject of Web writing alone, Jim’s ezWBB CD includes free access to a step-by-step course on Web copywriting, given by one of the acknowledged top copywriters on the entire Web.
But that’s not all — Jim’s ezWBB contains step-by-step video lessons and supporting resources that will allow anyone who can point-and-click their mouse, to develop their own online Web Business – from scratch.
That’s right, even if you’re starting from a blank page or screen Jim’s ezWBB will teach you everything you need to know to get up-and-running online — step-by-step, video-by-video. As I said, it’s an amazing resource!

Frankly, a couple of weeks ago when I first took a look at Jim Daniels’ ezWebBusinessBuilder (ezWBB) CD, my first feelings were of frustration and regret. I thought, “Darn it all! Why wasn’t there something like this available three years ago when I needed it!?!” Really.
Now that I’ve reviewed the entire CD, I have no doubts that this ingenious video series that Jim has put together, would have saved me a lot of pain and aggravation, and most importantly -– time and money. Seriously!
In fact, I estimate that if I had had Jim’s ezWBB course when I was starting out online a few years ago, it would have saved me at least 3 to 4 months in setting up my first Web sites. Do you have any idea what that 3 to 4 months of time-savings would have been worth to me in online income? Let’s just say it would be well into the thousands of dollars! Ouch, that hurts!

The thing that really impresses me about Jim’s ezWBB package, aside from the sheer depth and breadth of the content, is the way in which that content is delivered. He’s made it so simple that virtually anyone should be able to easily follow his step-by-step video (with audio) instructions.
Jim’s CD contains 3 major Sections (Research, Set-Up, Marketing), each one containing 6 videos, for a total of 18 videos in all. Here’s a screen shot of the Table of Contents.

Each of the 18 video segments is divided into two (2) sections. The first section is the step-by-step Video, with a concise audio track. The second section is an online guide full of instructions and resource links that allow the user to Perform online, everything that is covered in the matching video.
I can’t imagine how it could be broken down much more simply folks! (Jim should be given some sort of Technical Writing Award for this one!).

For example, we are “walked and talked through” each video, screen-by-screen, by a cyber-teacher called “Paul”. Here’s a screen capture of Paul’s introduction to the section on Web Copywriting.

I really can’t say enough about the superior quality and built-in simplicity of the ezWBB package that Jim Daniels has put together. It’s a powerful hands-on learning-and-doing tool.
Seriously, if you have EVER toyed with the idea of setting up a presence on the Internet, you owe it to yourself to take a close look at Jim’s ezWebBusinessBuilder.
